Garlic Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients:

​1 pound of Brussels sprouts, cut in half
1 Tbsp coconut oil (can use grapeseed oil too but the coconut adds delicious flavour)
½ c slivered almonds
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
 
  1. In a steamer, lightly steam Brussels sprouts, about 8-10 minutes, drain and set aside
  2. On medium heat, melt coconut oil in a saucepan.  Add almonds and garlic. Saute until golden brown
  3. Add steamed Brussels sprouts and stir for about 1-2 minutes
  4. Season with a little salt and pepper if desired, serve warm
